Each person has intrinsic value beyond our imagination, as we are children of God made in his image. Which is why Satan and his forces, and deceived human puppets, are constantly trying to break humanity, degrade us, convince us that we are not "special", and entirety of postmodernity is one great humiliation ritual from Pride parades, violence, "magic" to atheism.

Our specialness comes from our intricate relationship to Our Heavenly Father. Remember, God made us in his image. It is this relationship that rebellious angels and their demon brood hate and fear and envy. They try to break it no matter what and make us disinterested of pursuing it. And name of that relationship is Jesus, as in Jesus God bridged himself with humanity so fully that this relationship cannot be broken anymore by sin. It can be willfully relinquished by each of us, but Satan cannot separate us forcefully anymore as he did before.

We don't really need to do anything to be saved other than love others abd God. And sacrifice of Jesus purifies us and gives us chance to be with God with our sins forgiven.

This is what makes us special. We are children of God. Satan lies and seeks to destroy that notion, to hide our inheritance, to boggle us down with banality of "mundane" life. Do not let him!
This is our eternity in question, not his. He made his own choice to waste his great gifts in tyranny and hatred.

We can choose otherwise, to stand before our Maker and joyfully come to our inheritance as his children. We will yet do great wonders.
