It is what it is. While it was not pleasant it has given me an insight into mental health a lot more. I always just assumed stuff like trauma is when you feel anxious and unable to wrangle your thoughts but I have discovered the hard way its not that at all. Its fucked up my sleep but melatonin helps wonders.

With my experience with ego dissolution it was my first ever psychedelic experience. For 12 years prior I was on SSRIs due to having GAD and I weaned myself about 8 months prior to actually taking them. I was able to keep my GAD under control in the meantime so I felt anxiety would not be a risk during the trip. I don't have a family history of psychosis either and I had a good friend act as trip sitter during it. I had taken 17g fresh and they were only a day old after pinning and breaking the cap rim, so they were as fresh and potent as you could get in the cubes life cycle. I did not eat food all day as I wanted to maximise potency potential and by the afternoon I underwent the trip. When I was at the peak of the trip I felt a moment of lucidity and tried to get up from my bed, thinking I was now on the downswing. But as I did I felt my body go numb again and some shape entered my mind with 3 orbs rotating around it. Suddenly I sensed the following words: "we are not done here". I then involuntarily arched by back and fell into ecstasy
