It's 5 horse archervs vs 1 archer + 1 cata + melee chariot + 5 melee units. With army cost disadvanatage since i didn't use a hero. I assume you didn't count cata as ranged unit lol.
Horse archers will stomp foot archers 20v20 in every day. Just because they can easy dodge, easy reposition, easy focus, esy stomp in melee. And every foot inf is free kill for horse archers. And arty shoots so slow so even inf can dodge them in half of cases.
And there's no power that allow foot archers to tank cycle charges from behind, so you can't just blob and focus fire while ignore melee.
You really should to learn how to control your units.
