EE is infinitely better for modern PCs on a technical level, you just need a few mods to unfuck Beamdog's lack of talent at making video games.

I think that's it, the rest of the mods are up to your taste. My personal recommendations are

Makes your companions much more interesting.
>Endless BG1
Allows you to keep playing after finishing the main quest and move to BG2 whenever you wish. Either to complete Durlag's Tower and the werewolf island when it makes the most sense, or to install Trilogy and skip Beamdog's DLC - the modders who implemented Trilogy for EE are cucks who want to make you play it.
