I agree. It feels chaotic from the onset of level one. Coincidentally I just tried at Starfox that really hard college try, you know the kind of effort, and it felt like magic. It's like you honestly have to buy into the entire premise of the game or you set yourself up for disappointment. As soon as the voice goes:
>EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY!
My brain tells me that stuff has gone wrong, and the game succeeds at making level one especially feel chaotic without being too hard.
