Your point is not well made. Someone who actually PLAYED THE GAME and perhaps LIKED THE GAME and KNOWS ABOUT THE GAME would have far fewer issues with context since they would have memories of where they remember x or y line from.
The age-old "record gameplay and save it for later" method also works wonders here, since the one who played it and presumably knows about the game can go check the video for more clarification and context. This would require a thorough playthrough to find rare lines and whatnot.
All in all PLAY THE MOTHERFUCKING GAME HOLY SHIT I see it all the time where people make it 10 minutes into something and are like "yep, I'm gonna translate THIS thing I know fuck all about."
