I think they could have it done Sonic like this:

>Include Sonic CD and Knuckles Chaotix in Sonic Jam, having Jam be just a collection of the Genesis games was dumb, every Sonic fan already had all Genesis games, but not many got to experience Sonic CD and Knuckles Chaotix properly
>Do not release Sonic 3D Blast on Genesis, make it a Saturn exclusive. I had it on Genesis and when I got a Saturn I didn't bother to buy it because I had already played it
