The hardware itself sucked ass. At least emulation lets you work around the second and third points. The console itself was frustrating, but I still adore a substantial portion of its library; most of the Battle Network mainline games, most of the CV releases, ALL of the FE titles (not too big on 8 though) just to name a portion of them. Shovelware was always a big issue with it, but I lucked out of getting the worst of them

Those fucking cartridges with cartoon episodes preloaded onto them still crack me up, even if it was a somewhat innovative idea at the time.
