Not a remake. A sequel. Revisit the region 30 years after the original game and see what's changed and what's really possible with new graphics. Fix up the region's wonky geography to make it expansive and cohesive on the scale of a Xenoblade game.

>Ghost type Gym in Lavender Town set in an old temple
>Braving the waves of southern sea to find little islands to explore
>Climbing to the top of Mt. Moon and watching shooting stars falling over the region
>Cruising down cycling road on a motorcycle while the sun sets over the ocean

Kanto needs to be revisited not because it has the best games but because it would benefit most from being reconstructed and them iterated upon.
