Kalos’s only real crime as a dex is making Slurpuff and Aromatisse trade evos. They’re meant to be early game cute shitmons like Wigglytuff, Delcatty, or Clefable (remember Clefable was mediocre before the type change). They should have just been moon stone evolutions, and the fact that they’re trade + ITEM based evolutions for how bad they are means that no one will use them unless they deliberately planned them onto their team from the start.
