They're not played because nothing is played on the server browser anymore.
Everyone just defaults to the matchmaker now. And so if old classic maps aren't in the matchmaker, they're not gonna be played.
Go to CS 1.6 & Source and you'll see dust 24/7 and assault 24/7 filled to the brim.
