Idk, I had a cheap 100 euro honor phone, and instead of trying 200-400 range android phones to see if they're better, I went straight to a samsung flagship (mostly because of cameras tho because it's my hobby), the phone has been working flawlessly for past 4 years that I had it (it was bought so I could use teams/whatsapp without lag and for better built-in memory than my cheapo phone had)

Manufacturers put intentional or unintentional restrictions on smaller end phones. Someone had "pro" model of samsung, whilst I had "ultra" model, the difference? The other user's camera of same focal length was taking "too saturated" photos of everyday objects, because it had too tuned photo algos, whilst my ultra phone probably had the photo algos more fined tuned to slightly more "natural" look and colors. Is it ok that companies are making some stuff that makes higher end phones easier to sell? Maybe not, but it's the reality we live in, if you want a good phone that lasts you long time and you want to have good experience with, it's generally best to just buy the most expensive phone that you can afford, than settle for something that's cheap. I'm on my 2nd screen protector of my phone and I have a front/back wallet style cover for it also, so afaik the original screen has 0 scratchs on it, and that's a phone that I've had for 4 years already.
