>Have to immediately retemper my hype and rexamine my entire opinion of the game

They really really fucked up by making the trailer a bit ambiguous AND releasing it before Nightreign drops because Nightreign has people REALLY cautious and worried, so doubling down on that sort of experience REALLY has doubled people's misgivings.
