That means nothing other than language to make investors slightly less worried. For a while, the PS4 was outpacing the PS2 until the Switch released and caused a massive market shift. It'll probably be the same if the Switch 2 launches with Mario Kart and 3D Mario. The PS5 is coasting because it has no competition. Xbox is dead, and Switch 1 is last gen. Unlike Xbox, the Switch 2 will have reasons for people to buy it. If someone who's tight on cash is split between Switch 2 and PS5, they'll see the new Mario Kart along with a line-up of games that are more diverse than the homogenized AAA 3rd person, action-adventure games that's the PS5 library, and they'll just buy the Switch 2 and not the PS5. That eats into PS5 sales. It happened with the PS4. It will be more evident with the PS5 since Sony is more lazier than ever while Nintendo has learned to become more aggressive and less complacent after the success of the Switch 1.

Nintendo has more games lined-up for Switch 1 than Sony has for the PS5, and those new Switch 1 releases will also be on Switch 2 with better performance in addition to Switch 2's own games. Intergalactic may not even be a 2026 release. That's fucking embarassing.
