The more they lie, the more they're rewarded by the market. They're the Donald Trump of graphics cards, they can say whatever the fuck they want and – no matter how stupid – people will not only believe them, but immediately forget they've ever said what they said once it (obviously) turns out it was all bullshit.

And since no one ever calls them out on their bullshit, we got to a point where at CES 2025 they announced three new cards, they showed multiple benchmarks... and we still have no fucking idea how these cards ACTUALLY perform. There are so many layers of lies stacked on top of each other, it's impossible to even guess what independent reviews will look like in a few weeks.

That's how I feel as well. I want a 16GB card but I don't want to spend more than €600 for it. But I don't want to buy an AMD card either because DLSS is not only better than FSR already, but Nvidia iterates on it way more frequently. AMD launches new features, they're pretty good... and then they let them rot.
For example, right now FSR frame-gen is better than DLSS frame-gen. Crazy, right? I bet two years from now, DLSS frame-gen will shit on its FSR equivalent.

So my hopes are: the 9070 is €400, so it's so much better value than the competition it can't be ignored... or I'm lucky enough to find a cheap second-hand 4070Ti Super, or something like that. I'm definitely not buying a 12GB card in 2025.
