My theory is that this is actually a significant source of incel's bitterness. They spend years treating women like equals only to eventually learn that feminism lied to them, and the only reason they are incels is BECAUSE they treated women like equals. Because despite what feminists and simps say, women fucking hate being treated like an equal and never date a man who sees her as a true equal.
