Problem is everyone else has the same idea now and this mentality is oversaturating everything overseas now, from dating markets to inflated prices for goods and services. I've said it multiple times before, and I'll say it again: anyone just that has just started doing this now is 5 years too late to the party, you're just getting whatever remains of the bread scraps that are left over from the pre-pandemic hey-days. Some noobie redditor travelers might be okay with this, most other serious travelers and old school expats will not. Either way enjoy, whatever remains now, because it is not going to last much longer.

Perhaps from a basic supply and demand perspective, yes, however, the flip side to this is that Boomers are the last remaining demographic of people who remember the golden years of whatever country they are retired in, and the last group of expats/travelers to firmly hold the line on increasing prices and worsening quality of services. Zoomers are completely fucking retarded when it comes to travel, they have no idea how cheap these countries used to be, how much better the quality of services used to be and how much nicer the locals used to be. Not only are they complete simps, but they will simply just put up with whatever is dealt to them because "hey, it's still cheaper/better than X thing back in the US", where as Boomers will simply not put up with that shit at all and actively fight back. Once the Boomers are gone, so will whatever else remains of the "good old days" for these countries.

Agree with everything else though, especially AI gf's being the last hope to remove simps and Digital Nomads from the overseas dating markets. If that doesn't pan out though, everything from mongering to dating will be completely fucked and will never come back.
