This. Having an assassin come after the party while they're bathing can make for a fun and challenging encounter. I like putting my players in situations where they need to deal with a crisis or combat encounter without having all of their equipment to hand. It can be a great force multiplier for what they might normally have dismissed as a low level threat, and it can also be a fun role playing opportunity to see how the characters react to being caught in the buff.

Tangeltally realted: I think a few systems do this but Stars Without Number makes a distinction between 'street armour' and 'combat armour' where wearing the latter in a civilised area would attract the attention of the authorities or possibly be outright illegal. I like doing something similar in my games where players need to consider how they're dressed and what weapons and equipment they're showing off while in a town or civilised area.
