Which should work for your massive advantage here, since players for the stated premise of the game are a dime a dozen

How? Literally the only constrain would be living in a rural outback with no people to pick from.

So yes, it is very hard to accept that over such long period of time you were unable to find 3 like-minded people in a non-conflicting time schedule for general-appeal game. Especially given your story doesn't involve you as either someone with weird working hours (I remember playing with an ER nurse, it was a nightmare with her schedules) nor living in a desolated wasteland with next house 5 miles away.
