I'm going to spend most of a decade in the armed forces soon and would like to feel something warm again, if even for a moment and if even over something so distant as emails. It's also practical on my end - I am both long-winded and headed for a career path that will have me unable to message others at the normal, fast pace. That is, if all goes as well as I anticipate, but at this point, only God can tell.
If there is anything I expect or desire of you, it is to aspire to be better than you feel you are today. I have already spent years of my life surrounded by the wilfully stagnant, be they meth addicts, the chronic depressive or delusional NEETS, and I have no intention of spending the next nine years of my life with those sorts in my inbox.
If love threatens to flourish, I won't make an effort to nip it in the bud, but I also won't make an effort to make the first move. Cold and lonely fool that I may be, my teacher of experience has nevertheless already beaten this lesson into me.
Come and read my stories, moralise, be moralised to, tell me some stories of your own, but please avoid writing as if we're on Discord. This is a comfortable distance we are to start at, and if we get along, then may we speak more casually. I tire, however, of single-word responses. If being verbose is a sin, then I hope to meet you among the devils one day.
