It's still better to pursue women as a woman. When you approach a woman as a man, you have to keep in mind, that from the woman's perspective you're a person that's very likely dangerous. This dynamic doesn't exist if you're a woman approaching a woman. Women can afford to behave in ways, that would be seen as creepy and off-putting, if done by a man. I know one lesbian, and she immediately hits on every woman in her vicinity and wants to talk about sex with them. If she was a guy doing that, she most likely would have been arrested by now. Women in general can get away with significantly more socially than men. I've been near-assaulted by many women, as in they were coming at me fists-swinging, only with some guy holding them back. And even if a woman did land punches on me, it's not like I could fight back. That would be social suicide, even if the law was on my side.
