Nigger, what? Let's, for the sake of argument, assume that you have a basket factory in China. The wicker needs to either be shipped to or made in China. The baskets need loaded up on a boat. They need further distribution afterwards, and finally stocked on a store shelf. You need jobs for every stage of those steps outside of the immediate manufacturing. Most of those jobs are still going to exist if operations change to a factory in America (the boat transport could be swapped with railway transportation that would probably be used at some point in shipping), you just keep more money in the nation's own economy.

Automation streamlines productivity, but creates jobs maintaining that equipment. When the printing press was invented, scribes were devalued, but the sheer quantity of new printed material that could be made produced far more jobs than was taken.

You retarded drooler... the cost of raw materials is cheap as shit compared to the final product. Manufacturing, the step you admit would be automated, distribution, which you think will be automated, operational costs, and overhead (read: profit) markups are what makes a bulk of the price of a finished good.
The extra markup, if any, is better for the economy too, since it means more cash flowing throughout the nation. This is the EXACT argument you fags made about raising the minimum wage: while the immediate price of goods would spike, the general populace would have an overall increase in buying power. The difference is, instead of straining existing employers, you would be giving more jobs to Americans.
