One of the problems, maybe the biggest one, is that he sat in the backseat. His whole family and all his friends all said his wife drove every major decision. He was a real go-with-the-flow type of guy. To top it all off, his parents were no big fan of his wife, going so far as to warn him about marrying her in the first place. Too bad he didn't listen to his parents, because then his life wouldn't be such a mess. Rumor has it when he moved out his dad was so upset he picked up a coke habit.

Chris didn't fully confess until his dad showed up to the interrogation, then he spilled the beans. He was tapdancing around it, trying to say Shannan killed the kids. Once Daddyo showed up, it was game on.
