This sounds great, I want to go photograph there. It sounds eerie and uncanny, like a fake place people don't live. I have several ideas just from that description

Everyone thinks there is nothing to photography where they are because it's so known to you, there are interesting things around you, you just don't know they are interesting. So instead go photograph the stuff you think defines the place you are. In fact, it being so mundane is why you should photograph it. I can go right now and find an endless stream of landmarks from New York, London, Sydney, the Grand Canyon, mountains, etc. NOBODY is taking photos of suburban towns and that what makes them interesting to look at.

I got very bored of photographing the town I live in and stopped shooting all together. But recently I've decided to make it a goal to move away and suddenly I realized that I was going to be leaving and this was going to be the last year I was here and suddenly it was like seeing everything with fresh eyes, this is my chance to document this place and I'm pretty sure I'm the only person that ever will. My photos of my town are the only enthusiast-level photos taken with a proper camera that exist and probably will ever exist given the continuing decline of ILC camera sales.
