What discussion do you think we are having exactly? The prime slots for prime locations and activities in national parks that have timed entry and which are paid for by the US tax base are open to the world on a first come first served basis with no preference for the people who live here and fund these parks. This is unacceptable. I don't care if you can visit other parks that aren't limited, insofar as a park must be limited the first and highest priority should be ensuring access for Americans rather than allowing foreigners in while Americans can not experience their own parks. If that means barring foreigners from certain locations and activities then so be it. It's not racist or anachronistic to point out that our parks are OUR parks and we should have first access to it.
