I'm 30. Work at a recycled children's toyshop sorting through old moldy boxes of dead peoples lego sets 2 times a week and get most of my money from disability aid.
/out/ can be as cheap as you want to make it, just packing a sandwich a few beers and a fishing rod to the local lake or the woods with a tarp for an overnighter is enough for me. Used to do "epic" trips when I was younger, kayaking up the coast of Norway, bumblefucking through morocco, sailing trips from Denmark to England .etc

I dont think it's healthy to compare yourself to fake ass Internet people with $$$ "van life" set ups. Planning large trips is great, but life gets in the way, take smaller outings and focus on appreciating them. Cheering for you pal
