From what I've gathered:
>buy pre-2020 (like all cars) to get the better steering
>if the car was made after 2017 and sold in the US, you need to get the original springs installed for a better ride (will lower the car slightly to the intended height)
>2017 I4's have the best engines, but the worst electronics (make sure the battery is good; I'd probably shove a LiFePo4 in for slightly the higher voltage)
>facelifted models are basically perfect except for slightly duller steering and misc nannies (mandated globohomo spying, etc.)
