What I get from most cons I talk to IRL is that this is a negotiation tactic. It's a good 50/50 split on whether they think it's a good tactic or not. The argument falls apart when you ask them what are the demands, though. Note that the cons who are keeping up with Trump's policies are a minority to begin with. Most of my very red family members in Texas and Pennsylvania do their best to stay away from any news directly covering the president (listening to Trump makes them depressed; they'd much rather be getting riled up by what some crazy side-buzzed purple haired campus libtard is doing; note that this also applies to the left's feelings towards Schumer, Biden, and Jeffries). As for the people on 4chan, they mostly want to roleplay as Nazi Germany, securing "living space" and all that, between giggle fits of shitposts about how the confederacy were the true patriots or Hitler was woke.
