I'm the guy who wrote that I'm not a fan of Marble or Limestone, the other people responding aren't me.
But yes, a character barely having any character is a pretty good reason to not like them. That means they're boring, nothing more, nothing less. Well, I guess Limestone is not particularly badly-written in this regard, she does have a softer side, but her rude exterior doesn't appeal to me enough to care much about it.
What makes them "annoying and overrated" in my eyes is not so much a character but that their personalities appeal to two very basic bitch fantasies that I understand but don't entirely share. Them being:
>I want a spineless slave gf who idolizes me as her entire world and worships the ground I walk on and is incapable of wiping her ass without my help or assistance to stroke my ego and make me feel needed and fulfilled in life as a male whose purpose is to be her surrogate father figure
>I want an abrasive cunt gf who repeatedly abuses me but secretly likes me and it makes me feel special that someone so aggressive cares about me but also my low self-esteem causes me to be addicted to her abuse so I won't demand her to actually change her demeanor in meaningful ways
I understand why people have these fantasies but I don't "feel" them, so I'm annoyed by how prominent both these fantasies are.

She's level-headed and intelligent. That means you would be able to have a reasonable conversation with her, without having to endure abuse like with Limestone or spend ages getting her to open up like Marble. Many people don't seem to understand how appealing someone simply being LEVEL-HEADED is in a world where people act like emotional retards all the time, and archetypes like Marble and Limestone exist to further romanticize that.
