While this is true, and this forced engagement is part of the school's dueling rules. However, the two run with it, because Miorine wanted to stop being a trophy and Suletta didn't want to lose Aerial. They made a mutual deal to play pretend, until they'd graduate.

They were engaged, not married. It's left unknown how deep her feelings were for Elan Number 4. Miorine would have allowed for the two to date after the episode 6 duel, but the hags fried 4 before it could happen.

She explicitly rejected Guel in episode 17 because she had for a long time loved Miorine.

I understand not liking the show, but claims like these are just dishonest. You have 95 reasons to not like G-Witch and make valid arguments for why it sucks. Dishonesty is just not healthy for the board culture, because it only invites shitposting and ragebaiting.
