It's true that prose has its strengths too, and I don't wanna disregard them, but what I have in mind is more of an emotionally expressive light-hearted story, not too hard on analysis (that would be ideal for prose). Webcomics are also ameable to humor.

Webcomics with narrative arcs and character that evolve throughout them. I used to read them, and they were plenty fun, but it's been so long that I can't remember any title. I remember there was one with a pirate on a flying ship, which was pretty fun and went on for years.
