If you look at this from a scientific point of view, it all checks out:
>women outnumber men in terms of having average IQ (which also includes the number of pseudo-intellectuals)
>unlike animals (where males compete for females), human beings differ and have females compete for males (these women are showcasing their wealth and apparent education to potential Mr Rights)
>women are more likely than men to be autobiographical when it comes to writing (this happened to me today, I feel X about Y, etc)
>since women compete against other women in the sexual marketplace, this means being a reader/writer is to flex on women who don't (lmao, I can't believe Becky doesn't READ like we do)
>women generally care more then men about the opinions and feelings of other people towards themselves (so they easily fall into trendy topics or anything that nets positive affirmation - they actually join cults in bigger numbers than men)
>women favor written smut over video because it tickles the mind better for them

Women don't give a shit about literature because they truly don't give a shit about it in the first place. Like with most things, whatever a woman is involved with exists to be used by her hands in order to climb the hierarchy and snag a man who will ensure she and her children will survive.
