I think the insights of Christian morality do kind of underly things
We are held in existence by a wilful intelligent creator
(we have determinate rational structures that function harmoniously)
and we are embodied as a fundamental part of our way of being
(modern existentialist/phemenological stuff I think is quite effective at demonstrating what it is to be human is rooted in being bodily and historical)

There is something fundamental about our good, and the good of others both being expressions of existence in a way that functions harmoniously, though sometimes two glories go against eachother (see achilles vs hector for the best literary example)

just going from that with some of the ideas from the phaedo.

I think the sort of, particular historical aspects, as expressing their being of the highest good, and the fact they can fail to be expressed shows they are "incomplete" and need to be sort of manifest.

It's factual that there is say, potentially great noble people killed as children. I think it makes sense, to have the creators goodness most fully expressed, that that goodness has to have it's expression somewhere and the things that squashed it have to be correct, just for the sake of aesthetic order.

So I think it makes sense there is some kind of afterlife, where we are physical and in a material world like we are in now, but in a way that responds to what we are now in a way that the whole forms an aesthetic unity.

I do think the potentially goodness of every thing that's ever existed has to be manifest some how, either in correction or glory.
just for like aesthetic reasons.

I think our metaphysical structure combined with the sort of existentialist and phenomenlogical points about how we operate is sufficient to point to this.
