>harassed or imprisoned in parts of Asia
>harassed in Eastern Europe
>harassed in UK

Here's what could happen:
>laws against trans people prevent "crossdressing" in public, documents requested by police used to determine arrests
>lists compiled so ICE can visit the home's of trans people to arrest
>border law prevents anyone not presenting as their documents from leaving
>harassment in the workplace/ job interviews

They've spent the past 10 years saying trans people harm children and women, it's kinda important bad people don't have firm documented proof we are trans
