Personally I transitioned because I actually had GD, not because of any desire to ever join the "community." I was literally a 16yo going through a larpy esoteric wignat faze when I first started hormones, and the lack of support/"validation" never stopped me because I'm a real person possessing an individual mind and soul capable of taking responsibility for my own self.
You are a grown adult, maybe try taking accountability for your own (in)actions if you want to start attempting to fix your life instead of just whining about how it's everybody else's fault.
