There’s probably a good constitutional case for SBR deregulation, if it were to be raised in court. There are millions of registered SBRs, so “common use” criteria is definitely satisfied, plus tens of millions of unregistered braced “SBRs” (ATF logic), so they’re obviously not unusual or especially dangerous. Additionally, there was no such regulation of these types of weapons historically, so Bruen should also invalidate this restriction.
