The moon is essentially a vacuum. So any current firearm is going to heat up extremely rapidly and take forever to cool off. I have no idea if anyone, anywhere has done either the testing or even simulated it with math; but I imagine it's enough of an issue that it would make extended firefights a no go by destroying weapon accuracy through heating.
There's also the problem that the surface of the moon is both super hot and super cold because no atmosphere. At the moon's equator it can range from -200 F in the darkness to 250F in the sunlight. I'm not a material's scientist, but I can't imagine that's any good for gun parts.
Triggers and such will have to be modified to accomodate gloves that are made to protect the wearer on the surface of the moon.
You're going to want to outfit your soldiers with some kind of visual motion tracking system to detect enemies at distance and the impacts of bullets kicking up moon dust; because your soldiers are not going to have any audio cues to inform them of their condition/surroundings. In other words, something to give them a chance at figuring out something is wrong before people around them start silently dropping.
Electronic warfare will be used to keep individuals from communicating with eachother, forcing the squad to act as a bunch of individuals instead of a coherent group. Counter with lots of training or something along the lines of communications that are constantly skipping frequencies?
You won't have GPS, so any guided missiles will have to do so on their own with terrain mapping, or be guided by an operator like a TOW.
Maybe guns will be akin to the high pressure air guns that you can hunt deer with now. Something that runs off of compressed nitrogen? Or something you could refuel through a chemical reaction that makes tons of gas from small amounts of solid and or liquid reactants that doesn't also produce tons of heat.
