let's say you were literally a full-time hunter. you went out for every season applicable to whatever gun you chose and maxed out your bag limit or time limit for every possible game you could hunt. how many (shotgun shells) would you fire per year? 2000? 5000? that's only $1500-3k of value if all you did was hunt.
that's retarded. you don't "use" a gun for anything but fun. so get a gun that's fun to shoot and share. Maybe a full auto MP5, or a Browning M2, or something in a retarded caliber, like a Lahti or something. get something that will actually get you value. With a Lahti you need to shoot like, 20 rounds a year to break $3k of value, with a Browning M2, like 1000, an MP5 ~10,000.
you get two things with this: the ability to reasonably shoot a rare gun AND ammo. I'd go with the Lahti.
