This folder, the other two folders are trials for other games.
If antivirus gives a warning for reg.exe it's a false positive.
Copy over the files from the update folder to the root folder, and overwrite the files.
After that when it comes to the nodvdpatch...

man I really don't remember what I did. I'm trying to do it again on another computer but I can't even replicate it.
It took me a lot of searching and trial to figure it out the first time too.
not even copying over the files works. Huh, wtf did I do... this was less than a week ago too.

Well, I'll confirm it's possible to do at least. If I could figure it out, I'm sure you can too. It doesn't need any compability mode, i can tell you that much too. And I'm on Windows 10.
I'll check my browser history later and see if there was any hint in what I was looking at before I figured it out.
