This can only be a good thing, the human race has largely been unprepared for it and it has been weaponized against its people, with the future of it looking bleak. The Internet we knew of the 90s is dead.

Gensokyo likely has all the major technological comforts one would need for the comfort of life, I.E. plumbing. Cirno can be used for AC if you need it during the summer.

You already finished your education, haven't you? Public schooling in the modern world is pretty hellish. And Gensokyo is not absent of educational sources, it still has bookshops, libraries, schools and scholars. Also Gensokyo healthcare is worlds beyond our own, nice try.

Also weird that you didn't list family and friends being left behind, that to me seems like one of the biggest reasons not to go to Gensokyo. Anyways

Considering how scary the globalized world is, along with how most people are content to live their lives in small areas, this would be a boon to many.

>Not being part of the dominant species
You're a dominant species now Anon, do you really feel that empowered? Or do you still pay taxes? You're trading a bureaucratic hellscape, cyberpunk future, and malevolent shadowy government for youkai who at the least have a much stronger interest in keeping you alive, and are cute girls. You don't even have to do much in Gensokyo, just live a comfortable life in the human village and get spooked by some ghost stories you hear (assuming you stick to the easy villager life).
