Well, I can't say for sure, to me it sounds like you have your caveats and pet pevees, nothing wrong with that, specially at this day and age. Still, if you think the problem may be you, try making small compromises with people and see if things are still as bad. Sometimes you just got to embrace people's autism *a little bit* and try to get along even if you don't 100% click with them. I always try to focus on the converging points between me and others, that helps me look past the differences; if you can find your way to do the same, you may have something.

In that case, I'd look for the individual people instead of the groups, hide my power level if necessary and see if I find someone I can click with. I personally don't believe we are alone in our brainrot, there is always someone you can click with, you just got to be patient and let things unfold at their own pace. This actually worked for me with a friend who turned out to be as brainrotten as me in a very small, very specific sub-community.
