In any case, Arab nationalism has been the biggest fucking dud of all the major nationalist movements of the last two centuries. Yugoslavia might be in the history books, but at least it existed not too long ago, and Germany and Italy still exist today. Hell, there's probably a better chance for a unified Anglosphere coming into being this century than a unified pan-Arab state.
Poland is independent, and so is Korea, and Vietnam, and India. The 20 or so Arab states, with a combined population of 400 million, holding approximately half the world's hydrocarbons, haven't liberated a constituent sliver of their transcontinental "Arab nation" from a country with a population 1/60th theirs.
Turkey and Iran were very nearly colonized outright by the European powers and now they are regional powers in their own right, whom Sunni Arabs and Shia Arabs respectively are killing each other to serve under.
One question, when OP pic related launched his second failed war to incorporate his resource rich neighbor into a greater Arab state, why didn't the Arabs intervene on his behalf? Why didn't the teeming, innumerable masses of Cairo and Damascus and Riyadh pour out into the streets to denounce and oust their comprador rulers for siding with the pig-dog kafirs in opposing this great leap in Arab unity and power? Why is the Arab nation so weak and impotent (not to mention traitorous and self-deceiving) in pursuing their self-evident sense of national self-determination?
