Maybe my take was a little too complicated for you. Soviet mismanagement of droughts was nothing new. And Volga was a major agricultural area all throughout history of USSR that had documented famines twice in 10 years in that region due to poor harvests and weather. And still youd hear nothing about forced starvation genocide thats on the same level of holodomor. That alone speaks volumes about the 1990s pro-western ukrainian propaganda. In CIS 6 gorillion is as much about Jews as it is about Ukrainians. That number was inflated even further by counting unborn children and possibly unborn from those women of fertile age. But historically, in those years, every region suffered, every agricultural area was devastated by soviet managerial fuckups. To say that only Ukrainians died because Uncle Stalin hated them for some reason is ludicrous and deceiving.
