Maybe not quite the 'West' (they're literally part of the Orient), but certainly the most open and accepting of Western (specifically French) influence, especially in Lebanon before the Maronites were made to accept the National Pact and later the Taif Agreement.

No. The Melkite Church uses Arabic, and the Maronite Church uses Arabic and Aramaic. It's worth noting the Maronite Church is the most 'Latinised' but this is moreso in reference to liturgical rite rather than languages used in liturgy. These influences are largely innovations from the 15th to 19th Centuries, though some slight influences came about in the 12th when the Maronites entered into communion with Rome out of fear of the Crusaders. The Melkites entered communion with Rome in the early 18th Century for different reasons, and are closer to Levantine Greeks (Rum) and other Arab Christians generally. Chaldeans (Assyrians) have next to no influence despite communion with Rome entered into in the 16th Century, largely due to the sheer distance, and time in which the Assyrians broke away from the rest of Christianity at the time.

No. Besides, a great deal of knowledge which would spur on the Renaissance had been translated into Arabic a lot earlier, and hadn't had a profound impact on it.
