Anyway I wanted to come here to point out some useful shit some of you may not be aware of.
>you can hold shift and right click to get the old context menu
>you can toggle a few things in regedit to get the old context menu by default
>you can still type cmd in the address bar to open the command prompt
>as of September 2023 you can select "never combine" for the taskbar to prevent programs in the taskbar from combining, almost 2 years after release
>you can make the taskbar look less like mac shit by putting the start button in the left corner
>you can reduce the "recommended" section of the start menu to 1 row of 2 and disable it's results and increase applications to 4 rows from 3
>you can add my documents and settings and other shortcuts to the start menu at the bottom by power
>if you need to switch users quickly or lock the screen WIN+L will lock the screen taking you to win user select screen
>WIN+X gives an alternate start menu if the normal one is running like shit or explorer is frozen or whatever. Also lets you skip updating with reset/shutdown on some versions of windows
>CTRL+SHIFT+ESC for task manager if you didn't know, make sure to turn off all that retard shit in the startup tab like onedrive
>microsoft office 365 now has a fast startup service instead of an app, you can set it to manually start instead of automatically in services to save you some day to day performance while maintaining functionality if you need it and can't just use libreofice
>you can disable "let's finish setting up your pc" horse shit mentioned here >>104418175
by going to notifications and turning that shit off under additional settings like >>104419161

I do all this setup shit and more at work to make it less of a pain in the ass to function.
