I was really interested in trying an iPhone until I learned that the back button/gesture is not consistent. How the fuck do iPhone users deal with an inconsistent back button? This is the iPhone experience in 2025? I thought it was supposed to be intuitive and user-friendly over Android. But instead I see they have copied Android to the point of having overly customizable homescreens and widgets.

Anyway the differences between Android and Apple are becoming smaller and smaller over time because they keep copying eachother and the smartphone interface has been basically complete and perfect since like 2016, so now all the changes and additions are just aesthetic or optional bullshit (like AI, 8k displays, and 100mp cameras).

So ultimately it doesn't fucking matter what device you have. There are now $400 phones with metal + glass bodies that run very smoothly with good battery life, and you can spend like $1000 more if you want a bunch of other fancy bullshit.
