No, they would be fragile as fuck and assigned to carrying shit, like pack mules. Making a moving robot is one thing, making it heavy and solid enough to withstand damage is another. Making them smart enough to aim properly and assess combat situations isn't anywhere near the horizon.
In fact I'd be more scared of drones than ground walking termies.
