this is also true, but unfortunately jit tards have drank too much of the koolaid and think it also applies to people who are training. unironically there is this black belt at my gym who thinks he could beat me in a fight. i am a chill guy, plus hard sparring is for retards so i have turned down his requests for a mma hard spar.

i do not have the art to tell him that i would kill him in a fight. when i roll with people i purposely don't use my strength so i can learn the technique.
then i get comments all the time from higher belts if i successfully do something "you're so strong"
