>Go to the gym for years but don't make much progress, gain some strength but never any much muscle besides constant bulking/cutting cycles
>One day get some neck pain and upper back pain when standing too long or jogging
>After months of doctor appointments and physical therapy get an mri and find out I have a very minor bulging disc but is not impinging on anything
>Flash forward 2 years later
>Gain 40 lbs from a combination of being sedentary of fear of aggravating my neck and overeating to cope
>Also start developing thumb tingling which I assume is a result of overuse of the computer over the last 2 years and no exercise.
>Most recent visit with my Doctor, told me that I shouldn't be afraid to exercise more since the disc bulge was very minor and the pain I am experiencing is more likely from poor posture and stress since I have always been a very anxious person.
My question is, how silly would it be to attempt to use Anabolic Steroids being unfit as fuck just to help with my chronic conditions? I have always had a lot of trouble gaining muscle, but I feel like if I could it would help my back and neck with some actual support. I have already started a diet and restarting physcial therapy as well as planning on pushing myself with some light cardio even if it bothers my neck but I have been through all that before and am not that confident how it is going to help me. I don't even really care about looking good, I just want to feel normal again. I want to go hiking. I want to be able to go running for multiple miles again. Heck, I want to go grocery shopping without worrying about my neck acting up. I am getting pretty desperate here but don't plan to give up.
