I am just curious if I'm the only one who came up with this idea. Because it is so stupidly simple I'd not believe in that, however search of similar products didn't result in anything.

It is close but not the same.

So my idea was just taking random piece of galvanized, screwing it into studs and some drywall anchors, glueing it to the drywall and then just screwing into sheet metal wherever I please.
End result is so think you can just mud over it.
